Every so often someone comes along who is so far outside the ordinary that they change things, or could, if the universe lines up.
Inventors, rebels, people who wouldn't sit still. You don't have to like them. Plenty of them weren't easy to like. But they were exceptions to the rule, and the world moved because of them.
That's an exceptional deviant.
